Director, Service Solutions Sales (Midwest Zone)Job Description
The Service Solutions Director plays a critical role in expanding market penetration for Philips’ Diagnosis and Treatment portfolio, including Ultrasound, MRI, CT, X-ray, and Image-Guided Therapies. This Midwest-focused position is remote and leads a team of approximately 8+ sales professionals. The director will collaborate with Philips Enterprise Account Executives, and other sales teams to drive high-value service and equipment partnerships at all customer market segments including the Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) level. This role positions Service as a key enabler of strategic partnerships, providing consultative insights to customers and guiding them toward operational excellence in delivering patient care.
Your role:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute joint market strategies with geographical account leadership and Account Executive teams across hospitals, IDNs, and diagnostic imaging centers to enhance market share.
- Revenue Growth/Business Development: Drive pipeline development through customer intelligence, engagement, and sales execution across maintenance, software, and clinical education agreements. Prepare and present business cases for executive approval, securing investment for new opportunities and ensuring successful execution of approved plans.
- Competitive Service Expansion: Expand Philips' multi-vendor service offerings, targeting post-sale socket conversion opportunities through strategic initiatives.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and industry developments, maintaining a deep understanding of Philips' positioning and business objectives.
- Training & Development: Develop and implement a sales training program in collaboration with Service Marketing and Business Units to enhance team capabilities.
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in business preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare sales or business development.
- Proven leadership experience within medical device/medical capital equipment and service organizations. People leadership experience, preferred.
- Expertise in complex, multi-solution deal structuring and contracting. Strong background in sales, finance, pricing, and commercial business development.
- Ability to develop comprehensive customer profiles and execute effective acquisition and retention strategies. Experience in educating both customers and internal sales teams on industry trends, business challenges, and the value of Philips' solutions. Deep understanding of Philips' evolving portfolio and market strategies desired.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $307,750 to $348,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to the Midwest Zone- (ND, SD, NE, KS, MO, IA, MN, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH, KY). Travel is approximately 50%-60%.
