About the role

Are you passionate about uncovering market trends and analyzing competitive landscapes? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your insights drive key business decisions? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Market and Competitive Intelligence Analyst, you will be the go-to expert for all things market and competitive analysis. You'll build and maintain a comprehensive source of truth for the education market, supporting key decision-making processes with your in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive movements, growth opportunities, and revenue drivers.

Key Areas of Delivery:

Competitor Analysis: Develop and sustain a competitor landscape for total addressable market (TAM) areas:

  • Group competitors by market type (early-stage, mid-stage, incumbents).
  • Analyze competitor attributes, including ownership, financials, market share, strategy, business models, and market shifts.
  • Monitor Mergers & Acquisitions activity (M&A), partnerships, product launches, and private equity moves.
  • Provide teardowns and backward/forward-looking insights on competitors.

Market Analysis: Create and maintain a detailed market sizing framework, including:

  • Analysis by life stage, market segment, verticals, and business unit domains (e.g., language, assessment, content, enterprise).
  • Regional focus on the US, UK, and priority regions such as Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
  • Attributes such as market size, growth, margins, and key decision-makers.
  • Identification of market trends, growth drivers, and revenue opportunities.

Required skills/experiences:

  • Proven experience in market research, competitive analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in market sizing, trend analysis, and competitor strategy.
  • Proficiency with market intelligence tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
