We’re looking for a highly organized Content Production Manager to join our fast-growing content team in Cape Town. This role is multifaceted and suited to a creative, process-driven individual with experience in project management, production, and traffic management in media, content, or creative industries.
You will be expected to run content through the right workflows on time, while evaluating briefs to ensure the work aligns for both stakeholders and the creative team, allocating time and resources to projects daily, improving on process and workflows to produce high quality content at scale within deadline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Flow and Quality Assurance | 40%
- Oversee the production flow of content, from stakeholder brief to end product, ensuring work is fully QAed and meets the brief
- Process development | 10%
- Work closely with the EMEA content leads to refine processes
- Ensure content delivery | 25%
- Chase commissioning editors, writers and proposition owners to ensure that content is delivered to schedule
- Monitor and manage Ten’s communications schedule to ensure no delays or clashes in content release
- Represent content in meetings and communication | 10%
- Act as a liaison for content with external departments, assisting with briefing processes and sign offs
- Run daily meetings with the content team, and represent the content team in meetings with other stakeholders
- Content quality control | 5%
- Work closely with the writers, sub editors, and CRM specialists to ensure content is meticulously checked, is expressed with Ten’s tone of voice and tells the story of Ten
- Onboarding and Training | 10%
- Onboard new team members with production processes
Requirements
- English language skills: Professional C1/C2 level
- Extensive experience as a senior writer with strong organizational skills
- Proven experience in managing workflows
- Excellent people skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident in playing a key role within a major company
- Strong administration skills
- Computer literate: Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Additional software or CRM tools experience is an advantage
