About Us: The company provides comprehensive financial services, supporting businesses with expert bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management. We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Finance Coordinator to oversee our bookkeeping team and ensure seamless production of year-end accounts.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Accountant / Finance Coordinator, you will take full responsibility for the end-to-end accounting process. You will oversee a team of bookkeepers, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and drive the production of year-end accounts. This role requires a proactive, driven professional who thrives in a leadership position and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate a team of bookkeepers, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Take full ownership of the end-to-end accounting process, including reconciliation and reporting.
Prepare and produce year-end accounts in compliance with financial regulations.
Review and improve existing accounting processes to enhance efficiency.
Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of financial accuracy.
Act as a point of escalation for complex accounting issues and provide strategic guidance.

Requirements

Strong experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a leadership or senior role.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate a team of bookkeepers.
Expertise in preparing and finalizing year-end accounts.
A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to take full responsibility for accounting processes and work autonomously.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent accounting qualification is a plus.
Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
