Sr QA Manual Engineer

principles and practices, as well as experience in testing and evaluating software
applications.

- Collaborate with the Product Manager, Business Analyst, and Designer to ensure user stories have clear, deliverable, and testable acceptance criteria in an agile environment
- Conduct exploratory testing of user stories to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Provide support for user issues by liaising with the Customer Support team and
contributing to troubleshooting efforts. - Monitor feedback channels and report on application performance and any emerging
issues. - Use data to validate application behaviour, performing quantitative analysis through dashboards and analytics tools to support triaging and issue resolution.
- Research and analyse analytics data to uncover patterns and insights that help improve application performance and user satisfaction over time.
- Find the right balance of speed and accuracy when prioritizing.
- Take responsibility for seeing things through to a high standard
What you'll bring to us:
- Experience with test mobile applications, including hybrid web/native apps, across a variety of devices (phones and tablets).
- Experience testing both frontend and backend functionality (AWS tools like Lambdas, DynamoDB and Cloudwatch)
- Knowledge about APIs to verify and validate API responses (REST and GraphQL: JSON responses) for various use cases.
- Test Case Documentation.
- Database testing: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.
- Ability to report defects after manual executions.
- Experience debugging a failure, for example by getting and analyzing logs.
- Nice to have: experience with test manager tools like testRail or testLink for documenting testing progress; experience with CI, analyzing test result report; ability to execute pre-existing scripts and basic knowledge in software testing.
- Excellent English communication skills.
